About
Dr. Eric Crall grew up in Ft. Wayne, Indiana but relocated to Tampa in 1980. His educational background includes Jesuit High School, Tampa; the University of South Florida; Emory University School of Medicine; and the Bayfront Medical Center Family Medicine Residency Program in St. Petersburg, FL (Chief Resident). While at Emory, Dr. Crall received the Pisacano Scholarship from the American Board of Family Medicine, recognizing future leaders in Family Medicine. This award helped shape his path toward Direct Primary Care. Dr. Crall practiced for 17 years as an employed physician with Morton Plant Mease Primary Care in New Port Richey, FL before opening his Direct Primary Care practice, My DPC Doc Family Medicine, in July 2014. He emphasizes a patient‑centered, low‑overhead model that focuses on preventive care, addressing root causes, and minimizing unnecessary tests and referrals. He believes his faith and family life keep him grounded as he continues to advocate for the DPC model.
