Emily Gavel APRN, FNP-C, IFMCP is a dedicated healthcare professional with a Master’s of Science in Nursing in Family Practice from University of North Carolina Wilmington and many years of patient care experience. Her journey began with a fascination for health intricacies and a pivotal high school illness that fueled her quest to understand the deeper causes of disease. Starting as a registered nurse, Emily sought to address health disparities and empower patients with knowledge. Her true passion lies in primary care, where she focuses on first-line education and prevention to optimize wellness. Married to a former Marine and a proud mother of three boys, Emily leads a vibrant life filled with sun-soaked days, saltwater therapy, and horsemanship, including the occasional thrill of barrel racing. Her mission is to uncover the "why" behind disease and help others optimize their health and embrace vitality.
