ELIZABETH WILLIAMS-DRUEDING
Internal Medicine
About
Dr. Elizabeth Williams‑Drueding grew up in Newark, DE, and from a young age knew she wanted to be both an athlete and a doctor. She earned a Bachelor’s degree at Cabrini University and then attended the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine, graduating in 2014. After medical school she completed an Internal Medicine residency at Lankenau Medical Center in Wynnewood, PA, followed by a Primary Care Sports Medicine fellowship at the University of Washington in Seattle, WA. Her clinical background blends internal medicine expertise with a passion for sports medicine and whole‑person wellness.
Recognizing the limitations of traditional primary care, Dr. Williams‑Drueding founded Active Health DPC to deliver a Direct Primary Care model focused on personalized, accessible care for active individuals. She emphasizes long appointments, direct communication, and a holistic, osteopathic approach that minimizes unnecessary medication. Patients benefit from same‑day access, a strong therapeutic relationship, and comprehensive wellness guidance that supports both everyday health and athletic performance.
