Dr. Elaine Colby is a compassionate family physician and founder of Dalton Health Direct Primary Care. She is dedicated to improving healthcare by focusing on accessible, patient‑centered care that builds strong, lasting relationships. With over a decade of experience, Dr. Colby brings a wealth of experience in family and primary care medicine. She completed her medical degree, pursued a residency in Family Medicine at the University of Hawaii, and worked extensively as a civilian healthcare provider at Brook Army Medical Center in San Antonio, Texas, where she was honored with the Achievement Medal for Civilian Service in 2015. Dr. Colby later practiced at the Birmingham VA Medical Center and Southview Medical Group before launching Dalton Health Direct Primary Care in May 2024, emphasizing unhurried, thoughtful, and consistent care for her patients.
