EDWARD WILLIAMS

Dr. Edward Williams, MD, was born and raised in southern Alabama. After completing his residency in Family Medicine, he returned home to devote his career to serving his community. While practicing traditional fee‑for‑service medicine, he quickly realized that he wanted to do even more for his patients. In 2020 he founded Foundation Direct Primary Care to eliminate middlemen, insurance barriers, and administrative burdens, allowing him to build true patient‑doctor relationships and provide personalized, high‑quality care.

Dr. Williams is passionate about a patient‑first approach: he offers same‑day appointments, direct communication via phone, text, and video, and transparent pricing with no surprise bills. He believes that by focusing on preventive care, individualized treatment plans, and open access, patients can achieve better health outcomes and greater peace of mind. Outside of the clinic, he enjoys spending time with his family, hunting in the woods, and staying active in his community.
