Dr. Douglas Shapiro, DO, DABFM is the founding physician of Bayshore Concierge Medicine, a Direct Primary Care practice in Tampa, FL. He designs his practice around a patient‑first philosophy, offering members direct phone and text access, no insurance portals, and personalized, preventive family medicine. He emphasizes long‑term relationships, seeing patients as members of an extended family and providing care that is readily available and highly individualized.

Dr. Shapiro earned his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree from Lincoln Memorial University – DeBusk College of Osteopathic Medicine and completed a Family Medicine residency at the University of South Carolina in Greenville.
