Dr. Donald Jansen is a board‑certified family physician with over 25 years of clinical practice experience. He earned his medical degree from the University of Alberta in Canada and completed a fellowship with the Canadian College of Family Practitioners. He later achieved board certification in the United States through the American Board of Family Physicians. Dr. Jansen has served as an associate professor at the Universities of Alberta, McGill, and West Virginia, and has practiced in inner‑city, rural, and semi‑rural settings. Before joining Fiat Medical, he worked as a Medical Director and Vice President overseeing credentialing, quality, and utilization for hospital medical staff. He co‑founded Fiat Medical with his son to provide patient‑centered, direct primary care that emphasizes long‑term relationships, accessible communication, and comprehensive, personalized care.
