Deborah Thorne, DMSc, MS, B.Ex.Sc., PA, CIPP – Doctor of Medical Science, Master of Science in PA Medicine, Bachelor of Kinesiology and Exercise Science, Board Certified PA, Certified Integrative Psychiatry and Psychedelic Medicine Practitioner. Dr. Deb has been in healthcare since 1989, promoting healthy living through education and awareness. She earned a bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology and Exercise Science in Canada, followed by TCM Acupuncture certification, and owned a community wellness clinic serving First Nation communities, the Canadian Armed Forces, and regional health authorities. After moving to Guadalajara, Mexico for medical training and later completing her Physician Associate studies in New York, she gained experience in orthopedics, sports medicine, pain management, physical medicine, rehabilitation, ER, and urgent care. In 2019 she founded Medicina del Sol Direct Primary Care to provide accessible, affordable, patient‑centered care without insurance, emphasizing a Direct Primary Care model that prioritizes long‑term relationships, preventive health, and integrative therapies.
