Daniel Thompson

Dr. Daniel Thompson, MD, earned his Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of Utah and received his medical degree from the University of Utah School of Medicine in 1996. He completed a Family Medicine residency at Idaho State University in Pocatello, Idaho, finishing in 1999. Since returning to Utah, Dr. Thompson has been a dedicated family practice physician serving the Riverton community and, more recently, the new Zenith Family Health office in Lehi.

At Zenith Family Health, Dr. Thompson embraces the Direct Primary Care (DPC) model, emphasizing affordable, personalized care without the complexities of traditional insurance billing. He focuses on building long‑term relationships with patients, providing comprehensive preventive services, chronic disease management, and same‑day appointments that prioritize patient convenience and continuity of care. Dr. Thompson is especially passionate about caring for children and young adults, fostering a family‑friendly atmosphere where patients feel heard and valued.

Beyond his clinical duties, Dr. Thompson is deeply rooted in the local community, having grown up near Herriman, Utah. He enjoys engaging with families in the area, supporting community health initiatives, and contributing to a welcoming environment at Zenith’s Lehi clinic.
