Dr. Dana Ray is a family and addiction medicine physician who believes that great healthcare starts with genuine connection. A graduate of Southern Illinois University School of Medicine, she has spent her career caring for individuals and families with compassion and integrity. Before founding Proven Medical, Dr. Ray served as Chief Medical Officer at a community health center and as medical director for addiction recovery programs. She’s also an Army Reserve veteran, former Decatur City Council member, and Campus Pastor at Life Changers Church — all roles that reflect her deep commitment to service and to the Direct Primary Care model that emphasizes prevention, wellness, and lasting patient relationships.
