Dr. Crystal Skinner is a Tuscaloosa native who earned her MD from the University of Alabama at Birmingham School of Medicine. She completed a residency in Family Medicine at The University of Alabama in Tuscaloosa. Board Certified in Family Medicine since 2021, Dr. Skinner has experience in both acute and chronic care. She co‑founded Tushka Direct Primary Care to provide a patient‑centered, relationship‑focused model that removes insurance barriers, offering extended appointments, same‑day access, and unlimited virtual and in‑person visits. Her clinical philosophy emphasizes building lasting relationships with patients and delivering comprehensive primary and urgent care within the Direct Primary Care framework.
