Dr. Cody Wendlandt, MD is the medical director of Sartell Family Medicine, Minnesota’s only pure Direct Primary Care (DPC) clinic. He founded the practice to eliminate insurance contracts and provide patients with transparent, affordable, and personalized care. By limiting his panel to a few hundred patients, Dr. Wendlandt can offer same‑day or next‑day appointments, extended visits, and direct communication via phone, text, and email, embodying the DPC philosophy of relationship‑focused, preventative medicine.
Dr. Wendlandt earned his medical degree from St. George’s University School of Medicine and completed a residency in Family Medicine at the University of Minnesota’s St. Cloud Hospital, where he also served as chief resident. He is board‑certified in Family Medicine and holds additional interests in emergency and addiction medicine. His clinical background combines rural primary care experience with a commitment to innovative, patient‑centered models of care.
