Clodagh Ryan
Family Medicine
About
Dr. Ryan is a board‑certified family medicine physician. She grew up in Ireland and graduated from Trinity College Dublin Medical School in 1999. After working in primary care in Ireland for a few years, she moved to the western suburbs of Chicago where she completed a family medicine residency at Adventist La Grange Memorial Hospital and spent eight years in private insurance‑based practice before founding Cara Direct Care. Dr. Ryan also serves as an adjunct faculty member and preceptor at Chicago College of Osteopathic Medicine, directing courses and lecturing medical students. Her DPC philosophy emphasizes affordable, accessible, and personalized care with longer visits, direct communication, and a focus on preventive health. Outside of medicine she enjoys playing Irish music on the concertina and fiddle with her family, as well as running and reading.
