About

Dr. Claire Shervanick, MD, a native of Indianapolis, IN, received her undergraduate degree in Sports Medicine at New Mexico State University. She spent one year caring for high‑school athletes in Orinda, CA before returning to New Mexico to attend medical school at the University of New Mexico, earning her MD in 1997. After graduation she was commissioned in the U.S. Air Force as a family physician, serving active‑duty members, retirees and their families at Travis AFB and Vandenberg AFB. She deployed to Kirkuk, Iraq in 2005 in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom. In 2006 she left the Air Force and returned to Las Cruces, NM, where she founded Resolve Family Medicine, a Direct Primary Care practice that emphasizes longer visits, direct communication (phone, email, text) and transparent, cash‑based pricing.

At Resolve Family Medicine Dr. Shervanick focuses on building lasting doctor‑patient relationships, providing comprehensive primary‑care services for patients of all ages, and offering same‑day or near‑same‑day access. Her DPC philosophy centers on personalized care, preventive health, and eliminating insurance‑related barriers so patients receive the time and attention they deserve.
