CINTIA DAFASHY

Dr. Cintia (Cindy) Dafashy, MD, MS is a board‑certified Family Medicine physician who works in her solo private practice, Archway Family Medicine: Direct Primary Care (DPC). She created this clinic to give patients a true relationship with more time and access than traditional primary care. Dr. Dafashy grew up in San Antonio, is a first‑generation Ecuadorian‑American, and fell in love with Houston’s diverse culture. She is married with two young children and also serves as part‑time faculty at Rice University.

She has a special interest in caring for young families and adolescents, believing in tailored treatment plans and a holistic approach that focuses on the person, not just the symptom. She strives to find the root cause of health issues and often considers natural treatments before prescriptions, embodying the Direct Primary Care philosophy of restoring the patient‑physician relationship.
