CHRISTOPHER MCCARTHY

Dr. Chris McCarthy, MD, was raised in Fernandina Beach, FL. He earned a bachelor's degree in Biology from Jacksonville University and received his M.D. from the University of South Florida College of Medicine. He completed his residency in Family Medicine at Spartanburg Regional Medical Center, where he served as Chief Resident. Dr. McCarthy is board‑certified in Family Medicine and has a special interest in preventative care and wilderness medicine. At Palmetto Proactive Healthcare, he embraces the Direct Primary Care model, believing in a proactive partnership that removes insurance barriers, offers transparent pricing, and allows ample time for each patient to focus on long‑term health and wellness.
