She completed a residency in Family Medicine at Valley Baptist Family Practice in Harlingen, TX. After residency she worked as an immigration physician and in a rural family medicine clinic before joining Thrive Direct Primary Care, where she has served the New Braunfels community since 2013. She also brings extensive international experience, having done mission work in Romania, public‑health research in Haiti, and medical missions in Ghana. In her free time she homeschools her children, enjoys walking, and is active in her local church.
