Dr. Charles Sasser didn’t begin his career in medicine. Growing up in Livingston Parish, Louisiana, he graduated from LSU in 1993 and then served 16 years in the military—first as a Marine and later in the Air Force, flying aircraft such as the AH‑1W Cobra and the F‑15 Eagle. After his service he pivoted to medicine, bringing the discipline, leadership, and service‑orientation of his military background to his practice. He describes his approach as mission‑oriented, providing direct, relationship‑based care that mirrors the expectations of those he served.

For more than a decade Dr. Sasser has been delivering personalized, high‑quality primary care through Sasser Direct Primary Care. The practice is physician‑owned and operated, emphasizing transparency, low‑cost, and patient‑centered services for individuals, families, and small businesses throughout the Greater Five‑Parish Capital Region of Baton Rouge.
