Dr. Catherine Lok grew up in a small town in Ohio, where her mother was a local chiropractor. She attended A.T. Still University in Missouri, an osteopathic medical school, where she learned the fundamentals of whole‑person, evidence‑based care. After medical school she completed a three‑year family medicine residency in Maine, caring for a wide range of patients in both inpatient and outpatient settings.

Today Dr. Lok runs a Direct Primary Care practice at RiverRock Clinic, emphasizing longer, unhurried appointments (typically 45 minutes), direct access by phone, text, or email, and a membership model that removes insurance paperwork. Her philosophy centers on building a healing connection with each patient, integrating osteopathic manual therapy and holistic modalities into comprehensive primary care for individuals and families.
