CATHERINE KROUSE
Family Medicine
About
Dr. Catherine M. Krouse, DO is a board‑certified family physician who earned her Bachelor’s degree in World Religion at Temple University and her medical degree from the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine. After completing a family medicine residency at Central Maine Medical Center in June 2014, she founded Lotus Family Practice in Falmouth, Maine in 2015 as a Direct Primary Care (DPC) practice. The DPC model allows her to eliminate insurance middlemen, spend more time with each patient, and focus on preventive health and the root causes of illness.
Dr. Krouse’s approach blends conventional family medicine with holistic practices such as yoga, meditation, and acupuncture. She is a certified yoga teacher and incorporates wellness classes into her practice to support patients’ physical, mental, and spiritual health. Her commitment to community is reflected in her involvement with local health initiatives and recognition as the Maine Osteopathic Association’s 2016 Young Physician of the Year.
