Catherine Dekle

Dr. Catherine L. Dekle, M.D. attended Yale University for her undergraduate degree in history and completed post‑baccalaureate pre‑medical coursework at Columbia University. She earned her medical degree from the Medical College of Georgia and completed both her internship and residency in Internal Medicine at Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville.

For more than two decades Dr. Dekle has practiced Internal Medicine in the Atlanta area, serving patients in academic settings, Veterans Affairs hospitals, public health agencies, and private practice. She has taught as an Assistant Professor of Medicine at Vanderbilt and as an Instructor in Medicine at Emory, and has participated in clinical research trials. In her spare time she enjoys ballet and hiking with her family.

She coordinates care across specialists, serves as a patient advocate, and offers same‑day or next‑day appointments, extended visit times, and direct phone access, ensuring patients receive comprehensive, continuous care aligned with their values.
