CANDACE WRIGHT

Candace Wright, PT, DPT, graduated from Ithaca College with her doctorate in physical therapy in 2007. She worked for two years at a children’s hospital in Connecticut, performing clinical gait analysis and contributing to research on long‑term outcomes of orthopedic surgery in patients with cerebral palsy. Candace moved to Wilmington, NC in 2009 and began providing home‑care pediatric therapy as an independent contractor. In 2011 she opened Bright Beginnings Physical Therapy, offering both in‑home and outpatient pediatric services. She now practices at Coastal Direct Health & Wellness, where she collaborates with her sisters to provide affordable, direct‑primary‑care‑aligned pediatric physical therapy for families without traditional insurance coverage.
