CAMILLE JOHNSON

Camille Johnson is a Board Certified Family Nurse Practitioner. She graduated from the University of New Mexico College of Nursing in 1994 with her BSN and later earned her Master’s degree in Nursing at the University of New Mexico, completing her Nurse Practitioner training there. After years of experience in hospitals, home health, and hospice, she chose to focus on primary care and launched Functional Family Medicine. Camille believes that primary care should serve as a true "medical home" and emphasizes a Direct Primary Care model that prioritizes long‑term relationships, personalized wellness plans, and preventive care.

In her practice, Camille integrates functional and integrative nutrition training from the Institute for Integrative Nutrition, drawing on teachings from leaders such as Dr. Andrew Weil and Dr. Deepak Chopra. She combines evidence‑based family medicine with a holistic approach to nutrition, lifestyle, and chronic disease management, aiming to empower patients to take charge of their health.
