BRIAN WYSONG

Dr. Brian Wysong, born and raised in Hartwell, GA, earned a B.S. in Microbiology from the University of Georgia before attending the Medical College of Georgia, where he graduated in 2003. He completed his Family Medicine residency at Spartanburg Regional Medical Center (2003‑2006). Over the past two decades Dr. Wysong has practiced in the Gaston County area, including roles at South Point Family Practice and Gaston Medical Partners, before co‑founding Gaston Family Practice in early 2023. The direct primary care model allows him to spend more time with patients, focus on preventive care, and build lasting relationships without the constraints of insurance paperwork.

Dr. Wysong’s patient‑centered philosophy emphasizes listening, continuity, and personalized care. He believes that a DPC practice enables him to provide comprehensive, whole‑person care—addressing medical, emotional, and lifestyle needs—while fostering a community of health and wellness for families throughout Gaston County.
