About

Beth A. Edgerton, PA-C, was born near Boston but grew up in Massillon, Ohio, where she graduated from Jackson High School in 1995. She earned a Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, graduating Summa Cum Laude from Taylor University in Indiana. Drawn to biomedical sciences, she returned to school at the Medical College of Ohio (now University of Cincinnati College of Medicine) and received a Master’s degree in Biomedical Sciences and Physician Assistant Studies in 2002, also earning the Dean’s Award. After graduation she worked as a Family Medicine Physician Assistant at Rocky Mount Family Medical Center, then spent over 13 years as an Internal Medicine Physician Assistant at Boice Willis Clinic before joining Freedom Family Medicine. Beth is passionate about caring for women and geriatric patients and embraces the Direct Primary Care model’s focus on personalized, relationship‑based care. She brings her clinical experience and Christian faith to the practice, emphasizing preventive health and patient education.
