BENJAMIN HAGOPIAN
Family Medicine
About
Dr. Ben Hagopian is a board-certified family physician. He earned his MD, as well as a Masters in Public Health (MPH), from Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, OH. He went on to train at Maine Medical Center for four years where he was selected to remain on as chief resident. Dr. Hagopian’s desire to focus on health promotion and disease prevention rather than simply treating symptoms of a disease led him to do a fellowship in integrative medicine at Maine Medical Center and the Andrew Weil Center for Integrative Medicine at the University of Arizona. After completing his extensive training, he spent three years working in Oxford County, providing primary and integrative care to rural Mainers. After learning about direct primary care, he strongly believes that preventive lifestyle medicine, relationship‑centered personalized care, and lower costs are the solution to the healthcare crisis.
