Benita Walton-Moss, PhD, FNP-BC, is a family nurse practitioner with more than 35 years of nursing experience and over 30 years as a family nurse practitioner. She retired from Johns Hopkins University School of Nursing in 2015 as an associate professor where she played a primary role in developing the family nurse practitioner program. Her clinical interests include women’s health, substance abuse, and care for vulnerable populations.
