Ashley Finch
Family Medicine
About
Dr. Ashley Finch is a Board-Certified Family Medicine Physician with expertise in preventive care, chronic disease management, women’s health, and medical weight loss. She uses an osteopathic perspective and is dedicated to treating each patient as a whole individual with specific medical and psychosocial needs. She believes that the direct care model is superior to traditional care models because it allows both patients and physicians ample time to develop therapeutic relationships and shared management goals. Dr. Finch was born and raised in Beaumont, graduated from West Brook High School, earned a Biology degree from Lamar University, and worked as an emergency department scribe at Baptist Hospitals of Southeast Texas before attending the University of North Texas Health Science Center at Fort Worth – Texas College of Osteopathic Medicine, where she received her DO in 2018. She completed a Family Medicine residency at the JPS Family Medicine Residency in Fort Worth, TX (2018‑2021), including a Street Medicine track with additional training in care for the homeless, harm reduction, and chronic hepatitis C. After residency she returned to Beaumont, served as a primary‑care physician at Legacy Community Health, became a Clinical Assistant Professor at SHSU College of Osteopathic Medicine, and opened Direct Primary Care of Southeast Texas in March 2024.
