About
Dr. Anthony Todd Flowers is the driving force behind Mira Direct Primary Care. He graduated from the University of Louisiana at Monroe in 2004 with a B.S. in science, earned an M.S. in biology from Louisiana Tech in 2006, and received his M.D. in 2011 from Louisiana State University School of Medicine in Shreveport. He completed a residency in family medicine in 2014, after which he joined Mira DPC to provide personalized, relationship‑based primary care.
At Mira DPC, Dr. Flowers emphasizes the Direct Primary Care philosophy of eliminating insurance middle‑men, offering same‑day access via phone or email, and spending ample time with each patient to address preventive health, chronic disease management, and overall wellness. He is also passionate about mission work, having taken a leadership role with Extreme Missionary Adventures in 2016, and remains active in his community while raising his two daughters in Bossier City.
