About
Dr. Andrew Garner, a Family Practice physician since 1990 in Glens Falls, NY, grew up in the Midwest (Ohio and Indiana). He earned his undergraduate degree at Bowling Green State University and graduated from Wright State University School of Medicine in Dayton, Ohio in 1987. He completed a Family Medicine residency at Miami Valley Hospital in Dayton, Ohio. After moving to Glens Falls in 1990, Dr. Garner opened a solo family medicine practice where he has served the community for decades. He is board‑certified in Family Medicine by the American Board of Family Medicine since 1990 and obtained Certified Physician Investigator status in 2010, participating in practice‑based research through the American Academy of Family Practice. In January 2021 he founded Adirondack Direct Primary Care, transitioning from the traditional insurance model to a Direct Primary Care model that emphasizes personalized, affordable, and accessible care through direct patient‑physician relationships.
