Andrea Otto
Family Medicine
About
Dr. Andrea S. Otto, MD, is a Board Certified Family Medicine Physician and a Fellow of the American Academy of Family Physicians. She practices in Kirkwood, Missouri, and is the owner and operator of sproutMD Direct Primary Care. Dr. Otto’s DPC philosophy centers on open access, transparent pricing, and long, personalized visits that allow her to truly know each patient by name rather than a number. She believes that eliminating insurance middle‑men enables her to spend more time on preventive care, chronic disease management, and same‑day or next‑day appointments, all while keeping costs low for families.
After completing a six‑year BA‑MD program at the University of Missouri‑Kansas City School of Medicine, Dr. Otto served in the U.S. Army, where she completed a Family Medicine residency at Madigan Army Medical Center in Fort Lewis, Washington, and practiced as a full‑spectrum Army Family Medicine physician from 2007 to 2011. In May 2018 she and her husband Diane opened sproutMD, a Direct Primary Care practice dedicated to providing compassionate, patient‑focused care for all ages without the constraints of traditional insurance.
