AMY KINKEL

Dr. Amy Kinkel started Awesome Possum Pediatrics because she loves being a Pediatrician. She enjoys caring for babies as they grow, answering questions from new parents, talking with adolescents while facilitating their emerging independence, and interacting with children at all ages. As the oldest of six siblings, mother of two, and aunt to eighteen, caring for kids has always been a part of her life. She graduated from the University of Colorado with a degree in biochemistry, attended Creighton University School of Medicine, and completed a pediatric residency at Dartmouth‑Hitchcock Medical Center. She is board certified in Pediatrics and a fellow in the American Academy of Pediatrics. Her practice follows a Direct Primary Care model, providing personalized, flexible care without insurance barriers, same‑day appointments, and direct communication via phone, text, or email.
