Dr. Amy Capoocia, DO FACOFP, grew up locally and completed her Family Practice Residency at St Joseph’s Medical Center in Reading, PA. She earned her Doctorate of Osteopathic Medicine in 2003 from the University of New England College of Osteopathic Medicine and is Board Certified in Family Medicine and Osteopathic Manipulative Treatment. Dr. Capoocia is passionate about Direct Primary Care, emphasizing a personal doctor‑patient relationship, convenience, and affordability. She teaches lectures for the American College of Osteopathic Family Physicians, the Direct Primary Care Alliance, and other conferences, and she gives back by teaching medical students, hosting community lectures, and working at local free clinics. She is also a wife and mother of five children.
