Amber Beckenhauer

Dr. Amber Beckenhauer, DO, is a board‑certified family physician and the founder, owner, and CEO of The Healthy Human Direct Primary Care practice in Blair, Nebraska. She built The Healthy Human in 2018 to provide affordable, patient‑centered primary care that emphasizes whole‑person health, integrative wellness, and a strong physician‑patient partnership. Dr. Beckenhauer believes that patients thrive when they are educated, empowered, and supported with personalized care plans that address root‑cause health issues, lifestyle, and genetics.

Before launching her DPC practice, Dr. Beckenhauer served as the medical director of the MCH Emergency Room and the Blair Clinic, held the position of Medical Staff President, and taught family practice residents as faculty with the Nebraska Medicine Clarkson Family Medicine Program. She is an active board member of the Direct Primary Care Alliance and the Nebraska Academy of Family Physicians, reflecting her commitment to advancing primary care and community health.
