AMANDA LINGERFELT

Dr. Amanda Lingerfelt, D.O., is a board‑certified family medicine physician who founded New Heights Direct Primary Care to provide accessible, patient‑centered care. She emphasizes a whole‑person, osteopathic approach that focuses on preventive medicine, women’s health, and chronic disease management while fostering strong doctor‑patient relationships. Dr. Lingerfelt grew up in Unicoi County, Tennessee, and chose to return to East Tennessee after her training to serve her community. She believes that direct primary care allows her to spend meaningful time with patients, listen without rushing, and deliver thoughtful, personalized care.

In her spare time, Dr. Lingerfelt enjoys reading, attending sporting events, and cooking with her family. She and her husband, both native to Unicoi County, have raised two children in the area and remain deeply involved in the local community.
