About
Dr. Alya Jawaid (she/her) graduated from the Aga Khan Medical School in Karachi, Pakistan, in 2002 and completed her Internal Medicine residency at the University of Minnesota in 2008. She has lived in Minnesota for almost 20 years, is a mother of two, and enjoys volunteering, painting, and cooking for family and friends. Dr. Jawaid has worked in large health systems such as HealthEast Maplewood, St. John’s Hospital, and Sanford Medical Center in Bemidji, gaining experience in both inpatient and outpatient care.
