AJ Nguyen

Dr. A.J. Nguyen grew up in Vietnam and later moved to Lewisville, Texas, before attending Texas A&M Health Science Center, where he earned his MD in 2007. He spent more than a decade as an emergency physician in rural border areas, witnessing the need for affordable, accessible care. Drawing on that experience, Dr. Nguyen founded Kudo Care Center with a Direct Primary Care philosophy that emphasizes kindness, respect, and empowerment. He reimagined primary care as a home‑like environment where patients receive comprehensive medical, dental, and vision services under one roof, with multilingual staff and weekend availability.

At Kudo Care Center, Dr. Nguyen leads a team that provides family‑centered care, integrating emergency medicine, wound care, hyperbaric medicine, and functional wellness. He is committed to community outreach, having directed health missions with the U.S. Air Force in 2010, a Vietnam orphanage mission in 2023, and additional outreach efforts in 2014. His approach blends clinical expertise with a personal, hands‑on style that puts patients at ease and supports long‑term health.
