AIDA YAVARI

Dr. Aida Yavari, DO is a board‑certified family medicine physician who co‑founded Arktos Direct Care in 2018 to bring the Direct Primary Care model to her community. She believes that a small patient panel, personalized care, and direct communication allow physicians to spend the time needed to truly listen to patients and address their health goals without the barriers of traditional insurance‑driven practice. Dr. Yavari’s approach emphasizes preventive care, patient education, and a holistic view of health, aligning with the core philosophy of DPC.

She earned a degree in Microbiology from the University of California, Santa Barbara, spent two years studying autoimmune biologic therapy, and then attended Kansas City University of Medicine and Biosciences for her osteopathic medical degree. Dr. Yavari completed both her internship and residency in Family Medicine at Pacific Hospital in Long Beach, California. Since completing her training, she has worked in private practice and community medicine, focusing on patient wellness and building lasting doctor‑patient relationships.
