About
Dr. Adam Owens has over 10 years of experience in Family Medicine. He graduated from Albany Medical College in 2011 and completed his residency in family medicine at St. Mary's Hospital in Grand Junction, CO in 2014. Since then, he has been practicing in Durango, providing high-quality adult internal medicine, pediatrics, and women’s health. He also has a special interest in acute/urgent care and sports medicine. Prior to founding Durango Primary Care, he served as the team primary doctor for Fort Lewis College athletics. Dr. Owens is a volunteer clinical professor of family medicine with the University of Colorado and spends one day a week seeing patients alongside a medical student.
