ADAM COURCHAINE

Adam Courchaine, DMS, PA‑C, is the President and lead clinician at NuMed Direct Primary Care. He believes that health care should focus on preventive wellness and personalized, relationship‑based care rather than episodic treatment of illness. In his practice, patients receive unlimited 30‑60 minute visits, same‑day access, and comprehensive lab and imaging services with no copays, embodying the Direct Primary Care model’s emphasis on affordability, transparency, and continuity.

Adam’s clinical background spans internal medicine, pediatrics, geriatrics, urgent care, and primary care. He earned his Doctorate of Medical Sciences from Lincoln Memorial University in 2022 after completing a Master’s in Physician Assistant Studies at the Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences in 2006 and a Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science. Since 2006 he has worked as a certified Physician Assistant, and since 2012 he has served as a Major in Aeromedical Medicine with the Army National Guard, deploying twice overseas. His combined experience in clinical practice and military medicine informs his holistic, lifestyle‑focused approach to patient care at NuMed DPC.
