Dr. Abraham Alfonso Remigio was born in Havana, Cuba and came to the United States at an early age. He earned a dual Bachelor of Science in Chemistry and Biology from Florida International University (FIU), then worked several years in pharmaceutical formulation before returning to FIU for a Master of Science in Biomedical Engineering. He subsequently attended the FIU Herbert Wertheim College of Medicine, where he earned his M.D., and completed a residency in Family Medicine at West Kendall Baptist Hospital. Dr. Remigio now serves the communities of Plantation, Weston, Fort Lauderdale, and Miami Lakes through Florida Prime Health, emphasizing a Direct Primary Care model that focuses on personalized, accessible, and preventive care for each patient.
