Dr. Aaron Neisen, DO MBA, is a dedicated family medicine physician with a deep connection to northeast Missouri. He earned his undergraduate degree from Truman State University and his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree from Kansas City University of Medicine and Biosciences (now KCU). During medical school, he also completed an MBA in Healthcare Leadership at Rockhurst University, showcasing his commitment to combining clinical expertise with leadership skills. Following medical school, Dr. Neisen completed a rigorous three‑year Family Medicine residency at the University of Missouri‑Kansas City. He spent several years moonlighting in critical‑access emergency rooms throughout Missouri and Iowa, accumulating more than 13,000 patient‑care hours in emergency medicine. Dr. Neisen is board‑certified in Family Medicine and serves as the founding physician of Healthspan Direct Primary Care, where the practice emphasizes proactive, patient‑centered care and a focus on extending patients' healthspan through direct primary care relationships.
