Dr. Lisa Baron, MD, is a board‑certified family practice physician who has served the Colorado Springs area in family medicine, urgent care, and occupational medicine since 2004. She graduated from Hunter College in Manhattan in 1996 with honors and earned her medical degree from St. George's University School of Medicine in 2000. Dr. Baron completed an internship in Psychiatry at Western Psychiatric Institute & Clinic in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, followed by a family practice internship and residency at UPMC St. Margaret Hospital, where she served as Chief Resident. She is excited to practice in the Direct Primary Care (DPC) model because it allows her the freedom to prioritize patients over profit, and she loves caring for patients of all ages, fostering close personal relationships and compassionate care.
