About

Dr. Katherine Welch is a graduate of Indiana University School of Medicine and completed her pediatric internship and residency at the University of Alabama‑Birmingham. After completing her training in 2000 she spent 22 years serving marginalized communities in Asia and Europe, providing care to refugees, orphans, and trafficking survivors. In 2022 she relocated to Indiana and, in 2024, founded Imago Dei Restorative Health, a Direct Primary Care practice that integrates holistic, functional‑medicine approaches with traditional pediatrics.

At Imago Dei, Dr. Welch emphasizes the DPC philosophy of longer visits, same‑day access, and a partnership model that empowers patients to take charge of their health.
