DPC law in Florida
Florida law says a direct health care agreement is not insurance and is not subject to the Florida Insurance Code. The agreement must be in writing, carry a set notice that it is not health insurance and that no claims are filed with the patient's insurer for covered services, and allow either side to end it on 30 days' written notice.
