DPC law in Minnesota
Takes effect 1 Aug 2027
Minnesota enacted a direct primary care law in 2026 that takes effect August 1, 2027. It says these agreements are not insurance. Agreements must be in writing and state that they are not health insurance; the practice may not bill a health plan for covered services, must give 30 days' notice to end care, and may raise fees at most once a year.
