Pediatrics and Lifestyle Medicine

Board certified 35+ years in practice

About

Dr. Yolanda Rivera‑Caudill is a pediatrician with more than 35 years of clinical experience who founded The Tiny Beet, Savannah’s first pediatric Direct Primary Care (DPC) practice. After completing her medical degree at Universidad Central del Caribe School of Medicine and a pediatric residency at Miami Children’s Hospital, she spent decades caring for children in both hospital and private‑practice settings. In April 2021 she launched The Tiny Beet to combine general pediatrics with Lifestyle Medicine, offering families a membership‑based model that eliminates insurance middlemen and allows for longer, more personalized visits, same‑day communication, and a focus on preventive health.

Her DPC philosophy centers on building lasting relationships with patients and families, using evidence‑based lifestyle interventions—nutrition, physical activity, sleep, and stress management—to address the root causes of illness. Dr. Rivera‑Caudill emphasizes proactive education, frequent follow‑up via phone, text, or video, and a collaborative approach that empowers parents to make healthier choices for their children. She is a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics (FAAP) and holds a Diplomate in Lifestyle Medicine (DipABLM).
