She completed a pediatric residency at William Beaumont Hospital in Royal Oak, Michigan (2001‑2004). As a mother of four, she draws on personal parenting experience to guide families, and she is actively involved in her community as a soccer mom, runner, figure skater, and Disney enthusiast.
