Family Medicine

About

Dr. Tiffanny Blythe grew up in rural Alabama idolizing the country doctors who served their communities. She earned a biomedical sciences degree from the University of South Alabama, a Master of Educational Psychology from the University of Alabama, and a Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine from Kansas City University of Medicine and Biosciences. While in medical school she embraced the osteopathic philosophy of treating the whole person, not just the disease. After completing her training she added a Master of Business Administration in Healthcare Leadership from Rockhurst University, giving her the tools to build a practice that puts patients first.

In 2017 Dr. Blythe founded Blue Lotus Family Medicine as a Direct Primary Care (DPC) practice, cutting insurance out of the equation so she could spend more time listening, texting, and providing same‑day care. She emphasizes preventive health, women’s health, and a safe, inclusive environment for LGBTQIA+ patients. Her DPC model allows her to offer personalized, full‑spectrum primary care without the constraints of third‑party payors.
