Dr. Suzanne Gehl is a board‑certified Family Medicine physician who also holds certification in Hospice and Palliative Medicine. She earned her MD from the University of Wisconsin‑Madison and completed her residency in Family Medicine at the Medical College of Wisconsin‑St. Mary’s Hospital. After developing the Highland Family Health Center in Mequon, she spent a decade as a faculty member at the Medical College of Wisconsin, training medical students and residents with a special focus on geriatrics and end‑of‑life care.
Dr. Gehl founded her Direct Primary Care practice to restore the doctor‑patient relationship, offering unlimited same‑day access, house calls, and a personalized, preventive‑focused approach. She emphasizes continuity of care, patient empowerment, and holistic wellness, leveraging technology and flexible hours to keep patients at the center of every decision. In addition to her clinical work, she serves as Past‑President of the Wisconsin Academy of Family Physicians, sits on its Board of Directors, and is Chief Medical Officer for SolidaritUS Health, a national DPC organization.
